Margaret Reif, Chester County Controller
Margaret Reif made history in 2017 by being the first Democrat elected as Controller in Chester County. With a degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Scranton and currently working as a controller for a Malvern based non-profit, Margaret has the experience needed to be Chester County’s Controller. She is the manager of family owned small business for 25 years and has worked as investment liaison at Vanguard. She is a community activist for issues, such as maintaining open space and child advocacy. Margaret will provide Transparency, Accountability and Efficiency to the residents of Chester County by bringing a fresh eye to precious taxpayer resource allocation. As Controller, she will define strengths and weaknesses in county budgets, streamline methods of record keeping, and find areas where money can be saved.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.
